    Hi Dee,
I just finished reading better off without him! I wanted to get in touch with you and tell you how much I enjoyed it. You are brilliant and insightful and hilarious:)
I am living the experience that the book is about at this moment in time. And it was so refreshing to imagine that my situation could and will turn out to really be better off without him. I will be reading your other books , and I’m sure I’ll enjoy them just as much. Thank you for sharing your talent with us and keep up the good work

I wrote Better Off just to make folks laugh, but I love hearing that it’s helping women imagine something better for themselves. Thanks so much for writing me – I’ll keep plugging away!

Dee, your books have a tart sense of humor that is hard to find in contemporary fiction. Do you have any new stories coming up this year? I have been unable to find information on this?

Hi Penny – I have a WIP, but it may go a traditional route, which could mean a long wait. I am working on a series of shorts that I hope to have up and running by mid-summer. Watch my website for info. Thanks for reading!

Hi, I love your books. I am reading “A Different Kind of Forever”. When something is off in a book that I am reading I find it really hard to get through to the end. The neighbor and best friend is introduced as Sue Griffen and on the next page she becomes Sue Abbott. Am I missing something, or did the Editor? To me that is a huge oversight! Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Kathleen Roy

Hi Dee – just discovered you in December and really enjoyed Better Off Without Him and A Slight Change of Plan. I’ve already bought A Different Kind of Forever for my Kindle and need to take the Christmas decorations down and put away so I can start enjoying it too! You’re my new favorite author… Keep writing!

I just sent you a note telling you how much I enjoyed your book. My friend Mrs. Silverstein had you sign it. You wrote, Feel great soon. Your book was just what the doctor ordered! It had me smiling through my healing process. Can’t wait to dive into another of your great books.

I also loved Better Off Without Him, I could not put it down. I laughed, I cried and shared each moment with Mona. It was one of the best books I have read this year. You have the perfect style of keeping your readers interested without getting too detailed before your next event occurs. Keep writing and I will keep reading your books.

I just finished your book Better Off Without Him. Thank -you for an enjoyable read! I laughed out loud quite a few times, and I related to the emotions I had felt going through a divorce. I didn’t want this book to end!

Better off with out HIM touched my soul, as a divorced woman for many years, I could relate, laugh out loud, and cry too. I love the way you write, you have an amazing mind.

What a great book with a terrific sense of humor. I read mostly nights when I am having trouble sleeping and what fun it has been to be laughing out loud while reading a genre I rarely read and thoroughly enjoying it. (at 4 a.m. ??) Keep up the good work Dee. Laughter is the elixer of life.

Just finished Better Off Without Him. Loved it! Smart, funny — in places Laugh Out Loud funny. Very well written. The one drawback for me was the number of errors that should have been caught by a proofreader — minor stuff really … a word missing here and there, or a word that should be there, missing quotation marks. Again, minor stuff but very distracting for me. But you’ve won a fan with this book! Great work.

    Dee,
I absolutely LOVED Better Off! One of my 22 year old twins told me about you. I could relate to this story so much-three daughters-two of whom are twins. I could identify with Jessica, as could one of my twins. My husband and I have been married 24 years and I am going through the mid-life crap and told him I am now scared he will leave me for a younger, lighter girl. He told me to stop reading the “damn book” but when he heard me laughing so hard, he said he hadn’t heard me laugh so hard in a while and to keep reading. It did prompt me to get on a new diet and exercise routine though.

Thank you!!! Can’t wait for the sequel and the new book. I like the title Ohbabybaby.com. There doesn’t seem to be much out there for us mid-lifers. 🙂

Thank you! A romance without a Barbie doll and a billlionaire (“Better Off Without Him”.) Laughed my ass off and then immediately bought “A Different Kind of Forever”. You are now on my must-read new books now list.

    Hi Dee,
I loved your book “Better Of Without Him”. I also loved reading your remarks about getting published.
I am 63 years old, and have long thought that the world of romance should move beyond the 20-30 year old range. There is much romance among the older set, who with their maturity have a lot more fun with things in life.

I loved your books!! I bought (I was not aware of the free day, I must have missed it), again, I bought both books and read them both memorial day weekend. I can’t wait for your next book. Keep writing, I love your characters, maybe because I’m a 42 year old single parent and see myself in your books. Although, I’m not that lucky in love. Thank you!!
